Privacy Policy
C-Suite is operated by C-Suite Holdings (Pty) Ltd t/a c-suite.co.za (CIPC registration 2025/812492/07, registered in South Africa), the responsible party under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) for any personal information processed through this site and the service.
What we collect
When you request a free tool such as the SARS Provisional Tax Estimator we collect your name, business name, email address, and your explicit consent to be contacted about it. When you book a discovery call we collect your name, business name, email address, and any context you choose to share. When you email us we receive whatever you send. When you visit this site, anonymised analytics is on by default: we use Google Analytics 4 with IP address anonymisation and consent settings that deny all advertising-related storage. A notice tells you it is running and lets you switch it off in one click, and you can change that choice at any time from the Cookie preferences control in the footer. The site works fully with analytics off. Alongside Google Analytics we also record an anonymised replay of your visit through Microsoft Clarity, which captures the pages you view, your clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement so we can see where a page confuses people, with input fields, email addresses, and numbers masked in your browser before anything is sent. The same one-click control switches both off. Switching off stops Google Analytics straight away and tells Microsoft Clarity to stop storing anything on your device and to create no further replay, and because a replay cannot be halted once it has begun, the recording of the page you are reading ends when you move to another page or close the tab. When you submit an audit request, we also share a one-way hashed version of your email and name, along with your IP address and browser, with Meta to measure how our own advertising performs. This applies to audit requests only, the email and name are hashed before they leave our server, and the data is used only to measure our advertising and is never sold.
How we use it
We use your free-tool request details only to give you access to the tool and to follow up about it. We use what you submit for a discovery call to prepare for and run the conversation, scope the engagement, and send the one-page brief. We use site analytics to understand which content is doing the most work and where to invest, and, for audit requests, a one-way hashed conversion signal to measure how our own advertising performs. We use session replays only to find and fix the places where our pages confuse people, and we do not use them to build a profile of you or to target advertising. We do not sell personal information or use it for unrelated marketing.
Where it is stored and who processes it
Free-tool and discovery-call submissions are stored in a secured cloud database and, as a delivery safeguard, may be relayed by a transactional email processor so a request is never lost. These operators process the data only on our instruction under POPIA operator obligations. Some processors may store data outside South Africa; where that happens we rely on POPIA section 72 safeguards (comparable protection or your consent given at submission). Analytics processing is handled by Google, session replay by Microsoft, and advertising-conversion measurement by Meta, each under its own data-processing terms; all three may process data outside South Africa under the section 72 safeguards above.
How long we keep it
We keep discovery records for 24 months from last activity, after which they are deleted unless an active engagement is in place. Site analytics events follow Google Analytics 4 default retention. Microsoft Clarity keeps session replays for 30 days from the time of recording, except for replays we favourite and a randomly selected sample, which it keeps for up to nine months, and heatmap data, which it keeps for up to nine months.
Your rights
Under POPIA you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, request that we correct or delete it, and object to processing. Send the request to support@c-suite.co.za and we will action it within 30 days.
